Sizes: 17” to 24” head circumference with allowances for different sizes if desired

I 9/5.5mm Hook, approximately 11 Stitches per 3 inches, finished headband width measures 4” for largest size

Butterfly and Flower with leaf are included in the pattern.

Stitches used: Magic Ring, CH, SC, DC, HDC, Invisible SS, CSDC (Chainless Starting DC), Increase, Shell St. You would need to know how to follow a detailed pattern and do exactly as it says. Instructions for the Magic Ring, Chainless Starting DC, Invisible SS are all included in the pattern. These instructions can also be searched online if you aren’t familiar with them and you need to see a video. There are lots of ‘how to’ instructional photos included in the pattern.

Worsted Weight #4 Yarn

This headband will fit most. Different sized yarns and hooks will give varying sizes, so head measurements are recommended with this pattern. Even the slightest difference in yarn can give varying results. It is so worth making this pattern because it looks GREAT when worn. It has a nice scalloped edge that doesn’t hide the vision of the person wearing it and fits comfortably over the ears for warmth.
