Headband Explora Laura
Pattern | Headband Explora Laura - Knitting Pattern in English and German
Use 6 mm (US 10) knitting needles for Headband Explora Laura. Knit in rows (right side and wrong side). For the desired cable pattern to emerge, knit alternating right and left-twisted cables. You start by using provisional cast on and end by using kitchener stitch. This will create an almost invisible seam. As an alternative I included the long-tail cast on in this pattern.
Material: Approx. 16 g of Drops Air by Drops Design (50g/150m) or similiar yarn, scrap yarn in contrasting color for the provisional cast on, 3 knitting needles size 6 mm (US 10), 1 crochet hook, 1 tapestry needle.
Gauge: 10 x 10 cm (4 inches) = 15 sts x 20 rows (using 6 mm (US 10) needles in Stockinette)
Size: 7-8 cm (3 inches wide). For a head circumference of 55-57 cm (21-22 inches), knit for about 45 cm (17 inches). If in doubt, knit shorter rather than longer, as the headband will stretch.
The pattern is for private use only. Commercial sale or reproduction of the pattern or products made according to it is not allowed.
