Forestiere headband is a reversible, double-layer headband which features a beautiful lace leaves pattern inspired by the forest. The double layer ensures warmth, while the stylish front knot guarantees a perfect fit. Made with soft merino wool, this headband is both cozy and luxurious. The idea for this design came to me when I was thinking of the perfect accessory for a walk in the forest: beautiful lace, yet warm enough for a chilly autumn day.

The headband is worked in the round with double pointed needles. Both charts and written instructions are provided for the stitch patterns. The cast on and bind off edges of the headband are sewn using mattress stitch. The strap for the central knot is knitted separately and sewn across the headband with mattress stitch. The pattern includes instructions for adjustment of the size.
