Heading South Again is a pattern for textured knitted gloves worked from the bottom (cuff) up in the round that can be finished in two different ways - as fingerless mitts or as gloves with fingers.
Using the lovely basketweave with eyelets stitch as an accent, this is a small, fast and easy project. However, number of techniques are used as working simple lace stitches, simple cables and right/left slanting increases - perfect for the adventurous beginners who want to expand their skills, as well as for the more experienced knitters who want to make something fast, but interesting.
This pattern is created to match the Heading East Shawl and the Heading South Hat patterns, for those who would like to make a set and/or have some leftovers, but it is a nice and fun project all by its own!
