Healing Fairies
This pattern is available as a
free Ravelry download
These very, cute fairies are one of my quickest and simplest dolls to make. They were made for a knitting-friend who is bravely going through chemotherapy. I hope they bring love, hope and healing. I have decided to make this pattern free.
Construction
My Healing Fairies are knit almost entirely in the round from skirt hem to hat top, with arms that are knit in one-piece and slide into position through the arm holes, a wooden bead head that stays in place with a pipe cleaner, yarn hair added with a tapestry needle and wings that are knit in one-piece and stitched into place.
To make a fairy you’ll need:
- One 12mm wooden bead for the head
- One pipe cleaner for the body
- Scrap yarn
- A set of dpns
- One free evening
A big THANKS to my wonderful test knitters. Your dolls are gorgeous!
