"Heart and Sole" Slipper Socks
The Heart and Sole Slipper Sock pattern is an extremely versatile and fun pattern with lots of options for sizing, styling and colourwork to make a truly unique accessory! The striped sections each use a small amount of yarn, which makes this a great stash buster!
Whether you make them as knee high sock, legwarmers, or short ankle socks, you will love wearing them around the house or in your winter boots for all day squishy coziness!
This is a printer-friendly written pattern with photo tutorials and a graph at the end of the pattern. Worked from the top down, and shaped as it works down the leg, with several finishing options (legwarmers, tall or short slipper) and custom sizing makes this a very versatile pattern.
You can use any worsted weight yarn that will give you the gauge indicated. These socks are quite stretchy, with about 3” of negative ease. Sizing is adjustable both in the calf portion and the foot portion. Use a larger hook or less tension to achieve the sizing you need around the widest portion of calf. The foot portion should feel nice and snug right up through the ankle. More sizing details can be found in my Blog Post
This is a great project for a beginner looking for a challenge, and crocheters of any level who want a fun, unique project with lots of different stitch patterns, colour changes and shaping!
Please contact me if you have any questions about the pattern, I am happy to help!
