Heart Baby Blanket
I used Rowan Milk Cotton to make this pretty blanket. Rowan Summerlite or Sublime Baby Cashmere Merino Silk DK would also work well. It is knitted on a slightly smaller needle (3.50) than recommended on the yarn sleeve to maintain a better shape. It is still soft and drapes nicely.
It easy to knit and is worked from the bottom up as this is easier to follow the heart shape. I have included a chart.
Approximate size; 61cm x 82cm . 24’’ x 32’’
It is a little longer than required for a pram so it will wrap around the little darling. The blanket can be made wider by adding extra 15 stitch heart patterns and longer by adding extra 21 row sets.
