The Heart Basket pattern provides easy instructions for crocheting a simple, chic and functional basket!
This basket is relatively quick to work up, yet maintains a lovely look.
While it is a beginner-friendly crochet pattern and there are many ways to customize it to give a unique and a special look! To make it the perfect, personalized item for your home or as a gift to a cherished one!

Skill Level:

Familiar beginner. Requires knowledge of or willingness to learn the stitches used (below) and changing colors.

Size:
Base diameter: approximately 12 inch – 30 cm
Basket height: approximately 10 inch – 26 cm

Yarn: Jumbo weight yarn (7) in three different color:

Sample in

1. color A: black
2. color B: green
3. color C: pink

Hooks:

8 mm (L) for base
9 mm (M/N) for basket

Notions:

stitches markers and tapestry needle

I recommend using a jumbo yarn or a ribbon (I used a lycra ribbon that is excellent because it can be washed!) To make a large or extra-large basket!
But rest assured, this pattern also works with finer yarns and smaller crochet hooks!
If you don’t have thick yarn, but still want to make a large basket, just change the number of rounds for the base bearing in mind that you will need to get a number of stitches divisible by 10 to work the heart pattern.
Or you can join multiple strands of yarn together to create a thick yarn to work with.
