Heart Crown for Horses
It’s a little late for a Valentine’s Day pattern, but this crown knits up really fast and can be used for other horsie dress-up occasions as well! :)
I made this little crown with small amounts of leftover yarn for Valentine’s Day. CC3 can be any weight and in any color you want. I chose brown to blend in with my horse’s coat. MC, CC1, and CC2 should be a super bulky weight, so that the crown stands upright. If you want to use a lighter weight yarn you may have to hold multiple strands together at once. These can also be any colors you like. I just used whatever I had leftover from old projects. The crown is knit with a slot for the crown strap of a halter to fit through. This way, the crown will stay in place either over one ear or centered on the poll.
