This is a fairly simple design for a heart shaped gift bag in three sizes. The small heart measures approx 9cm (3”) wide, medium heart approx 13cm (5”) wide and the large heart approx 16cm (6.5”) wide.

The parts are quite easy to make but there is a fair amount of counting. The trickiest part is weaving the halves together.

You will need about 20g of yarn in each of 2 colours for each heart you make.
You will also need a button and a darning needle and some stuffing if you wish to make a padded heart rather than the gift bag.
