This heart granny square pattern will yield a 6”x6” square. It’s a very simple to follow, step by step written pattern. The amount of yarn you’ll need really depends on the project you’re making. This pattern is simply just to give you the result of 1 granny square with the heart in the middle as shown in the picture.

You will need a 5mm crochet hook, scissors, darning needle and 2 colours of yarn. This is a great stash buster project as well because making multi-coloured heart granny squares for a blanket would be gorgeous.
