This hat and cowl set is a lovable addition for the winter. They are knit with bulky weight yarn that has a gauge of 9sts=4” on a US #13 needle. The hat is sized for children, teen/SM adults and M/L adult sizes. The cowl is sized for children and adults.

This pattern comes with a chart for the heart and is written into the pattern. The cowl has a row of three different hearts across it and you can knit them all in one color or in three different colors as shown in the sample. This piece is meant to be fun so you can be as creative with your colors as you choose.

The hat and cowl are knit flat on straight needles with a seam up the back. The colors are knit using intarsia.
