The Heart Knot pattern was revealed when I was working on Sevilla Tiles Pattern. Inspired by the lovely tiles you can find in all over in Spain, especially in Sevilla. I decide to make this cute little heart as an introduction to my style of pattern writing. Even though the size is small the possibilities are unlimited!

You can make a Single Square (A Mug Rug), a larger repeat (little table runner), or a larger and longer repeat (Placemat). All of them can be made separately or together to make the final size you want.

Included in this pattern are full charts (yes there are 2 differents hearts to play with) with the double crochet marked with an X and written pattern with the Row by Row written instructions if you prefer. A lot of photo have been added to help you with the Overlay Mosaic Crochet technique if you are beginner.

A single square measure 15 per 17 cm (using Drops Paris coton and a 3.5mm hook) and you will need only 40 meters for the background colors and 22 meters for the heart. You can mix the heart and made the shape you want, no limit to your creativity. I could be perfect to finish you stash, playing with all the colors you have !
