Looking for a Mitten Pattern that also works great as a Valentines Day project? This Heart Love Mitten Pattern is a quick and easy crochet project for a cute pair of heart mittens.

The pattern is worked up using front post double crochet stitches and has information included (diagram, photos and links to a quick video) to help you make the mittens and perform colour changes and the heart pattern.

This requires working double stranded with an H (5.00mm) Hook when using lighter worsted weight yarn so you will need 2 skeins of yarn per colour used. This creates a very warm and thick mitten, perfect for the winter months. BUT PLEASE NOTE, these mitts can also be made single stranded with regular Worsted weight yarn and the mitts will be lighter weight and slightly smaller fitting and stitches will not be as close together as when working with double strands.

The pattern can be worked up using bulky weight yarn as well, a total of 3-4 skeins would be required depending on the amount of colours used.

Sizing for the mittens can be adjusted by simply changing hook size to obtain the correct fit. These have been designed as one size to fit most adult women sizing.
