This is my first shawl design. I have named it the “Heart of Jewell” in honor of my mother, Jewell. She has been an inspiration and a true friend, plus an exceptional mother.

The shawl is worked side to side with a 20 stitch 12 row repeat lace pattern along the bottom edge, and a stockinette body above it.

I have labeled it as a intermediate pattern due to the face that it is a true lace pattern, meaning there is no resting rows. (Every row of the 12 row repeat is a pattern now.). In order to do this pattern you must know how to:
Knit
Purl
k2tog
slip, k2tog, pass
k3tog

I would like to save a huge THANK YOU to my testers.
