Heart of Purls
If someone is described as having a “heart of gold”, it typically means that this person is kind and generous. For us, these are generally perfect descriptors of all knitters and fiber crafters we meet. As knitters, we may not always be able to show our love in gold, but we do have the ability to share… PURLS! (Sorry, bad pun. We know.) With the Heart of Purls hat design, you can share the love by knitting up cozy, warm gifts for friends and family just in time for a lovely holiday around the corner (HINT: Valentine’s day)! The pattern is great for both beginner and experienced knitters as it takes advantage of purl stitches or stranded-purl colorwork to incorporate the interlocking heart motif. This hat was designed to be a quick knit by using chunky yarn. This way if you are in a pinch for a gift or if you are in dire need of a new hat to keep you warm this winter, you can finish it in a flash.
