These simple coasters are done in the blanket stitch with two colours.

Techniques:
-single crochet
-double crochet

Yarn:
Sample made using Paintbox Simply DK. Any DK weight yarn would work in this pattern. Cotton is especially nice for coasters, and you can experiment with different weights and hook sizes.
