Heart Scarf
This pattern is for a crochet heart scarf with hearts facing both directions; perfect for Valentine’s Day or just for keeping warm.
Can be made with yarn of your choice in the color of your choice. For the one pictured, I used Caron Cakes in Red Velvet.
Can be made with crochet hook of your choice, I used a size “I” for the one pictured.
Supplies:
• Crochet Hook size: I / 5.5 mm
• Yarn needle (plastic or metal)
• Approximately 335 yards of worsted weight or any yarn of your choice (I used Caron Cakes in Red Velvet for the one pictured… it is 20% wool, 80% acrylic and self-striping)
• Scissors or yarn cutter
Approximate finished size: 6.5 inches wide x 70 inches long… length will depend on how many repeats you do of the pattern… I did 6 repeats to get 70 inches. For a child size, maybe 3 or 4 repeats.
Gauge using “I”: 4 inches x 4 inches = 15 DC stitches by 8 rows of DC
Abbreviations: (U.S. terms)
CH = Chain stitch
SC = Single Crochet
DC = Double Crochet
SL = Slip Stitch
Pattern includes written instructions and chart
*** Pattern is symmetrical so is very easy for either right or left handed person to follow ***
