This pattern contains written instructions to make a standard sized tea cosy. There is no gauge for this pattern as it is one size and the main thing is to use an aran weight wool. I have used classical red and white but it could be made in many different colours. You need one skein for the main part and less than half a skein for the motif and there is plenty left over to make a few egg cosies.
