Heart Throb Scarf
Here is the perfect ladies scarf for Valentine’s Day … and it will be treasured every day by the romantics who live happily amongst us.
Heart Throb is knit end to end. It uses reversible stitch patterns for both the solid and lace areas. The bobbles are worked side by side (one pops away from you; the other pops toward you) and the stitches are cabled on the next row to hold them back-to-back. Heart Throb is completely reversible, the perfect scarf to just grab and go.
Stitches used in the pattern: knitted cast on, k, p, yo, k2tog, bobbles (done with a short row technique), p3so (pass 3 stitches over, to complete bobbles), left twist 1x1 cables (no cable needle necessary as directed), traditional bind off. The lace portions are true lace without resting rows.
Finished size when lightly steam blocked is 9 x 78 inches (23 x 198 cm).
The pattern includes complete abbreviated row-by-row written instructions as well as fully charted directions. It is formatted to easily meet your personal printing, budget, and/or conservation requirements.
