"Heart to Heart" Tank Top with Heart Cut Out Back
If you want to sparkle this Summer and show off the amazing knitting superstar you are, “Heart to Heart” is your one stop tank top! Featuring two of fashions hottest trends, jewel embellished necklines and heart cut out backs, you will have everyone saying “Who is that girl? I want to know her!” Knit with your choice of sugar cane or cotton yarn, you will be keeping cool and looking fabulous. Warning: I would recommend making 2 of these beauties, because you just know your BFF is going to want one too!
Instructions for the heart cut out on the back are given so that you can use it interchangeably with another pattern you have! It is 35 stitches wide and 48 rows tall, as long as it will fit comfortably on the back of your pattern it should work!
This design is knit in the round on a circular needle and is 100% seamless. The tank top has instructions for 2 length options, regular length and cropped length. It also has 2 layout options for the jewel embellishment along the neckline with details on the exact size and quantities of rhinestones I used. The rhinestones I used were purchased from Michael’s craft store.
The neckline, armholes, and heart are finished with a round of single crochet for structure. If you don’t normally crochet, have no fear! I don’t either, but I use this technique frequently to finish my edges. Here is a tutorial on how to do a single crochet edge.
The hearts were knitted the same, but came out slightly different in size because of the different yarns I used and the way I finished them. Details are included in the pattern, if you have any questions please let me know!
“Heart to Heart” is part of the “Boardwalk Beauties” collection, a collection of 5 awesome summery Girly Knits patterns! Check out the details of the other fabulous patterns included within this collection here.
Enjoy!
