HEARTFELT
The Heartfelt infinity shawl celebrates love and ­human rights; the pattern is made up of hearts, knit in a ­rainbow color symbolising that all humans are equal.

Heartfelt is a rectangular lace shawl that ­becomes an infinity shawl when the ends are sewn ­together. The pattern is made for 2-ply wool yarn from the ­Swedish ­company Ullcentrum, but is easy to adapt and works well with any sport, dk or ­fingering weight yarn, or whichever weight is preferred.

ULLCENTRUM
The Swedish company Ullcentrum was ­established in 1998. It takes care of Swedish wool that would otherwise be thrown away and ­produces yarn and other wool products from it. The yarn is made from different ­Swedish sheep breeds, such as the Gotland sheep. The yarn is available in both natural and dyed ­colors. It comes in several different weights, both spun and unspun and in 1-, 2- and 3-ply. This ­pattern is adapted for 2-ply yarn, in particular the gradient dyes. GAUGE
The gauge in this shawl is not crucial. An ­estimate however, is 13 sts x 20 rows after blocking. For a standard sized shawl in sport weight, ­estimate about 90-100 g of yarn. A good sized shawl should end up about 40 cm wide and 140 cm long.
