Here’s an easy way to make a one-of-a-kind chevron cowl without counting or guesswork. All you need is a long circular needle and stitch markers. This pattern really shows off self-striping yarns, but it would be amazing with hand-dyed or solid colored yarns as well.
Finished measurements:
at least 40” around, about 6-8” tall
Yarn:
about 400 yards of light worsted, DK, or sport weight yarn
shown in 4 oz of handspun superwash merino, hand dyed by Pigeonroof Studios
Needles:
US size 8 (5.00mm) 40” circular needles or size needed to get a gauge you like
Other Materials:
a good number of stitch markers in two colors: color A and color B
