This pattern includes 3 styles of Princess Crowns which can also be worn as lace collars or as headbands. One of the crowns includes teardrop beads as an option. Gauge is not terribly important here as more or less pattern repeats can be used to achieve the required circumference. The pattern is written for 18” American Girl Dolls, but can easily be adapted for other sized dolls as well. About 20 yards of yarn (something close to worsted weight) should be sufficient to complete a crown.
