This striking 2 piece knit set consists of a lacy ruffled skirt accented with a variegated star stitch. The seamless short sleeved cardigan top is knit from the top down. Its yoke uses a slip stitch pattern so you are only knitting with one color at a time. The edge also has the star stitch stripe which was used in the skirt. It can be worn as a cardigan or buttoned in back. It is sized for slim bodied 18” bfc dolls and will NOT fit the fuller American Girl body types. It requires about 3 oz. of sport weight yarn in the main color and about 3/4 oz of the contrasting yarn, and is knit on a size 2 needle.
