This basket makes the perfect gift basket for other homemade goodies. Use it to give the gift of heartmade to others, or make it for yourself to hold and carry the things you love most.

Pattern includes:
-full written instructions to make the Heartmade Basket

-a photo tutorial for the hdc 3rd loop

Suggested Materials:
-one skein (227g, 149yds) of Lion Brand Fast-Track yarn
-size K (6.5mm) crochet hook (or size needed to obtain gauge)
-yarn needle to weave in ends

Level 2: Easy

main stitches used: sc, hdc, dc

This pattern is fairly easy to customize to make different sizes; simply add or subtract rounds to the base to make wider or narrower, and add or subtract rounds to the sides to make shorter or taller.

While I recommend Lion Brand Fast-Track yarn, this basket can be made in any stiff, weight 6 yarn.
