Stranded colorwork isn’t just for cozy winter garmets. When paired with cotton-blend yarns it can be used for breathable spring accessories and clothes. This very spring hat was designed for my baby girl and features its sweet theme in pink, purple and white colors.
The stranded pattern is simple and easy to follow, uses only two strands at one time. Recommended for knitters in intermediate level.

• size 1: Baby 6-12 mo / 17.5” 44 cm head circumfence
• size 2: Toddler / 18.75” 47 cm head circumfence
• size 3: Small Child (2-3 yo) / 20” 50 cm head circumfence
• size 4: Child (4-12 yo) / 21.5” 54 cm head circumfence

Shown in DROPS Cotton Light (1.76 oz/50 g, 115 yd/105 m, 50% cotton/ 50% polyester micro) DK weight yarn:
o 1 skein #05 light pink (MC);
o 0.3 skein in colors off white #01 (CC1), pink #18 (CC2), grape #24 (CC3)

Note on gauge: cotton-blend yarn is less elastic. If you work with wool yarn, especially with merino, consider going one size smaller.
