The pattern is available in English (US terminology)

This is a beginner-friendly pattern. Making a blanket could be time-consuming, but it is easy to crochet.
To finish the blanket you need to know only a few basic stitches like chain (ch), double crochet (dc), single crochet (sc) and slip stitch (sl st).

It is a whole new experience! :) In the “Hearts and kittens” pattern I have described 3 different ways of creating a blanket for you to pick the one you like:
♥ Written instructions - just follow the text row by row
♥ Counting sequence - you could skip a long row by row descriptions and crochet only looking at the numbers (instruction is included)
♥ Graph

If you use similar materials (I used Yarnart Jeans and 2.5 mm hook), your “Hearts and kittens” baby blanket will be approximately 28 x 36 inches.

This pattern can be worked with any weight yarn and a gauge is not important (please note that the size of the finished blanket depends on the yarn you pick).
