Hearts Aplenty Mittens
I’ve always thought that simple single-stitch colorwork patterns look like little tiny hearts from a distance. This design works up quickly as a warm gift for your sweetheart – at any time of the year!
I made the red and white “Valentine” set for my daughter, but you can use any combination of colors that has a distinct contrast.
These mittens look like fair isle/stranded knitting, but they use slip stitches to create the same effect. The benefit is that you are working only one color per round! That means it’s great for a beginning knitter.
The hat pattern can be found here: Hearts Aplenty Hat.
Thank you to April Ridgeway of NewGrowthKnits for tech editing this pattern and to ashley320295 for testing!
