Heart's Content
Place 4 or more of my self-published designs in your cart and you automatically receive 25% off the total price at checkout (the patterns must be purchased in a single transaction and cannot be combined with another sale in my Ravelry store).
There is an untested Dutch language version of the pattern available upon request with purchase of the pattern.
Heart’s Content is a top-down, seamless, knitted, sleeveless tee. The raglan lace and shoulder mesh transitions to a stranded yoke and body that has waisted shaping. Short rows in the collar raise the back neck and short rows in the cuffs minimize bulk in the underarms. With 3 different colourway options from which to choose, you can pick one “to your heart’s content”!
Lace and colourwork are charted only.

(XXXS, XXS, XS) (S, M, L) (XL, XXL, XXXL) with finished busts measuring (28, 30.25, 32.25) (35, 37.75, 40.75) (46.5, 51, 56.25)” / (71, 77, 82) (89, 96, 103.5) (118, 129.5, 143) cm. Sample shown is size M on a 35” / 89 cm bust corresponding to 2.75” / 7 cm positive ease. Intended to be worn with 0” to 3” (0cm to 7.5cm) positive ease.
Colourwork gauge: 34 sts and 34 rounds of Chart C1 to 4” (10cm) in the round after blocking and with 2.75mm needles (or needle size required to match gauge).
Yoke lace gauge: 22 sts and 31 rounds of Chart A to 3” X 2.75” (7.5cm X 7cm) in the round after blocking and with 3mm needles (or needle size required to match gauge).
Needles & Notions:
Size A: 2.25 mm (US 1) circular needles and long circular needles or DPNs for magic loop (cuffs, hem)
Size B: 2.75 mm (US 2) circular needles (body, stranded colourwork)
Size C: 3 mm (US 2.5) circular needles (lace yoke)
Note: many knitters find that they need to use smaller needles for single colour stockinette to achieve the same gauge as the colourwork; you may or may not need needles smaller than your colourwork needles for the rounds of single colour stockinette. Be sure to swatch and always use a needle size that will result in the correct gauge after blocking.
You will also need:
small diameter cable needle such as a sock cable needle (ideally 2.75mm or less), stitch markers, scrap yarn
Yarn: Fingering weight wool in 16 colours. Samples are Knit Picks Palette (100% Peruvian Highland wool), 231 yards (211 metres) per 50 grams (you will need 1 ball of each colour, but 2 balls of colour A for sizes L, XL, XXL, XXXL, and 2 balls of colour K for XXXL).
