This is a cuff down sock pattern that uses a heel flap and gusset heel, knit on double pointed needles.

It is a simple pattern mostly knit in stockinette with one cable running down the side of each sock. The cable is not centred on the sock so the left and right feet will be mirrors of each other. I love how fat and squishy the cable is! There are other patterns similar to this but I wanted a fatter cable and a cuff down sock on DPN’s.

Yarn: Fingering weight - approximately 65g. Sample knit with Cascade Heritage Waves in Stained Glass (509).

Needles: US 1 (2.25mm) for cuff and US 1.5 (2.5mm) for rest of sock.
