Hook Size: 4mm or size needed to obtain gauge

Yarn: Light/DK weight 3 yarn. Sample crocheted in Paintbox Yarns Simply DK. 91 yards total. (73 yards MC, 18 yards CC to make a head band like the sample).

Gauge: not super important. 22sts/30 rows = 4” in sc

Finished Garment Sizing: approx 3.5” wide, length is adjustable. 
Other: button, tapestry needle, thread (if your button holes are too small for your yarn).

Model: Model has a 21” circumference head and crocheted Row 7 thirty-two times.

This is the Heart’s Desire Headband!

This is a cute and adjustable headband that can be made for any season. Make it in cotton and you have a great accessory for the Spring and Summer. Make it in wool and then you’ve got the perfect earwarmers.

The nature of the construction makes the piece easily adjustable to fit a variety of different head sizes.

Any DK weight yarn would work for this pattern. The sample was crocheted in Paintbox Yarns Simply DK and Lion Brand Yarns Mandala.

Gauge isn’t particularly important for this item unless you are wanting a headband with a particular width.
