Lacy hearts cascade down the center front of these sweet socks. Lace ribs resembling strings of tiny hearts adorn the sides and center back (vaguely reminiscent of seamed stockings) alternating with plain and zigzag ribs. Even the toe and gusset increases create lacy eyelets.
Knit from the toe up, the lace patterns are deceptively simple and make for a fairly stretchy fabric with a great fit. Sized for ladies’ Small/Medium (shown in pink variegated) and Large (shown in raspberry solid). While the pattern shows best in a solid or nearly solid yarn, a low-contrast variegated yarn works well without obscuring the design.
