The set includes a scarf and a hat, both worked as rectangles and then seamed together. The scarf features a round of slip stitches in the back loop only along both edges for a polished finish, while the hat has a round of slip stitches in the back loop on the brim. The pattern uses intarsia crochet to create the heart motifs with separate yarn bobbins for each color block, ensuring a neat finish.

For both pieces you will crochet a rectangle, sew the ends together to form a scarf/hat. For the scarf you will finish by working one round of slip stitches in the back loop only (slst blo) along the top and bottom edges. For the hat you will finish by working one round of slip stitches in the back loop only along the bottom edge.

This pattern uses intarsia crochet. Intarsia crochet involves using separate yarn bobbins or small balls for each color block, ensuring that yarn is not carried across the back of the work. Follow the color chart carefully and manage yarn changes neatly to maintain a clean finish.

The small hat size fits a head circumference of 54-56 cm, while the large size fits a head circumference of 58-60 cm.

I highly recommend using the progress tracker or downloading the chart for clear, easy-to-follow instructions. The links to both resources are included in the pattern for your convenience.
