Hearts of an Angel Shawl is started at the bottom and worked up. I used Cascade Yarns Pima Silk with a white trim. Used 5.0mm and 6.5mm circular needles but the choice of yarn and needles is completely your choice. I would not go with any smaller needles thou or your shawl could wind up for a child unless that is the plan ;)

Terms I used are as followed
K – knit
P – Purl
Kyk – knit, yarn over, knit in same stitch
S1 – slip 1 like purl yarn in front
YO – yarn over
K2tg – knit 2 together
Ssk – slip slip knit
St – stitches
Cn – cable needle
M1 – make 1 (L)eft, (R)ight
CC – contrasting color
C4F - Slip 2 stitches to CN and hold at front, purl next 2 stitches from the left-hand needle and k2 from cn
C4B - slip 2 st onto CN and hold in back, K2 from left hand needle, p2 from CN
