♡ ABOUT:  Heartstrings is a granny square blanket with heart. The perfect blanket for a big little kid who pulls on your heart strings. They will be cosy and wrapped up in your love. 

To make Heartstrings, start by batch making the granny squares for the heart and join them as you go using the CJAYG method. Once the heart is done, move onto the background by batch making more granny squares, which are then joined also using the CJAYG method. To finish the entire blanket, add the signature HGDC border and then weave in your ends.

This patten has been tested.

♡ SKILL LEVEL: If you can make a granny square you can make this. 

♡ SIZE: Finished blanket with border size 15 x 17 granny squares which is 45 x 51” / 143 x 129 cm.

♡ YARN: uses double knit (DK) yarn:

• For the heart you will need 140g.
• For the joining colour you will need 350g.
• For the 2 round granny squares you will need 250g.
• For the border you will need 70g.
• Total weight is 810g.

NOTE: You can use whatever fibre content and colour you desire as long as you match gauge.
