Heartstrings Vest
This pattern is from my upcoming book Fast and Fabulous Knits: 18 Speedy Sweater and Top Patterns for Busy Knitters, which will be published on April 2nd, 2024.
Construction
This vest is worked mostly flat in reverse stockinette and charted cables from the bottom up. You will first work the back panel flat, followed by the front panel. You will join the shoulder seams to create the neck hole using the Grafting method. To create the armholes, you will use the Mattress stitch to seam the sides together. The neck and sleeve trims are worked in the round by picking up stitches along the neck hole/armhole edges. Instructions on how to adjust the body length of your vest are included.
