Hearty Scarf
Fun scarf and so pleasant to wear.
I used double knitting, but if you prefer, you can do intarsia, stranding or single crochet (for Intarsia and stranding do the border in a flat st such as garter or seed st).
Size: 7”x50” / 17.5 x250 cm (mine is a short scarf. Make yours longer by repeating the stripes).
Yarn: I used 1 skein Bernat mosaic 209 yards / 191 m as the variegated yarn,
and a Bernat baby coordinates (same amount) for the solid.
(adjust by weighing your yarn before starting, and when you used half the yarn - start the other half of the scarf).
Needles: #8 US / 5 mm
Gauge: my gauge was 15 sts X 20 rows = 4” / 10 cm square,
the chart gauge is 17 sts X 23 rows, and anything in between and ‘more or less’ should work too.
Pattern is also available at my etsy shop.
