Heathcliff Scarf
The Heathcliff Scarf is a textured unisex accessory that is perfect for cold weather outings. Snuggle up in this cozy scarf, knit using soft tweed yarn for that extra rustic look. This is a great beginner pattern for knitters who are looking to try some textured stitches for the first time. The simple repeating basketweave pattern is easy enough to memorize without being too boring, since it alternates every four rows. The seed stitch border on the edges adds stability and structure to the scarf.
The Heathcliff Scarf is dedicated to the memory of my sister, Heather, who loved to knit. She made a scarf very similar to this one for me many years ago before she passed away, and I wanted to recreate it to share with other loved ones. I hope this pattern will become as beloved to you as it is to me.
