Construction
Heather Hood is worked in one piece from the bottom up. At first the rib on the back is worked and then the rib on the front is worked. The hood is then worked in stockinette stitch in the round. The rest of the hood is worked flat with decreases on each side of the opening, and later at the center back. Finally, the stitches are knitted together using the 3-needle bind-off method.
