Worked in the round, this Tunisian crochet cowl, hat & fingerless mitts set uses stitch changes to create the color-work pattern. This stitch change color technique was developed by Lily Chin. Rowan felted tweed is the yarn shown in the picture (555403 Iris, 276089 Cumin, 795320 Lotus leaf).
To make the full set you will need:
400 yards of the primary color (color A), and 80 yards each of the contracting colors (color B & C). Use a DK weight yarn.
Instructions are given for one size of cowl and hat, but there are instructions for both a small and large size of fingerless mitts.
