HEATHERED SUNSET
a triangular shawl // by Tabetha Hedrick
Classic lace in a well-loved shawl shape doesn’t get any lovelier than this. Eyelets in diamonds travel across the fabric, wandering in simple columns framed by Stockinette stitch. Perfect for the new lace knitter, this is an accessory that will see year-round wear.
PATTERN NOTES
This triangular shawl is worked from the back neck, center-out.
The Swatch Patt is for swatching purposes only and is not used in the overall pattern construction.
The circular needles are used to accommodate the number of stitches. Do not work in the round.
The Body and Border stitch patterns are embedded within the construction instructions and worked between the stitch markers on the needles. What this means is that you will follow the given rows for construction while also continuing the stitch pattern row repeats throughout.
The stitch patterns are both written (Stitches Used) and charted (p 2 and 5) for your preference. The pattern directions begin on p 3.
