This oversized hood will certainly keep you warm and cosy! The hood has a looped scarf attached which can be left hanging when the hood is up or can be wrapped around your neck for extra warmth and also to enable you to put the hood down. There is also a toggle to keep the hood super snug to your neck and this also allows you to keep the scarf dangling down when the hood is also down. It is made using basic crochet stitches ( single crochet and double crochet) and minimal sewing together. I used a 10mm hook and Wendy Serenity super chunky wool which is beautifully soft and light due to it’s sophisticated blend of 20% alpaca, 10% wool and 70% acrylic. Enjoy making and wearing your hood!
