Heather’s Lace Shawl
An elegant lace shawl with garter stitch border detail. The wool used for the model was hand-dyed using ferns from the Scottish countryside by Pam Morrison.
A truly elegant piece inspired by Shetland lace knitting and Victorian lace edging.
Materials: 50g of Debbie Bliss Angel 2Ply superkid mohair and silk 402m (440yds per 50g)
Skill Level: Intermediate
Size: Length (excluding borders) 185cm (73”) Width 39cm (15.5”)
Gauge: One pattern repeat of the Stole pattern = 7.6cm (3”) when pressed to its full width and height and 24 rows = 14 cm (5.5”)
