This hat is worked in Zitron luv & lee; the fire engine red of the yarn caught my attention and gave the hat its name of heatwave. It matches my Heatwave Mittens, Shawl and Cowl.

The hat is crocheted entirely in slip stitches in a textured wave pattern. It is worked sideways, with a gathered crown added at the end.

The pattern includes written instructions and an extensive technique section, with step-by-step photo tutorials for

Die Mütze ist aus Zitron luv & lee gehäkelt, ein Garn, bei dem mich das Feuerwehrrot sofort ansprang. Daher der Name heatwave (Hitzewelle). Sie passt zu meinen Heatwave Mittens.

Die Mütze wird aus Kettmaschen gehäkelt, mit einem flauschigen Wellenmuster. Sie wird quer gearbeitet und zum Schluß oben mit einer Raffung geschlossen.
