Heatwave Sweater
This sweater is a modern take on my younger, slightly goth days, updated for the older better me. The large, open crochet stitches provide visual interest AND air flow, and the long sleeves keep you covered (kind of). I also added a few extra rows to the sides of the body to create the thick, vertical stripes that mimic the front and back while also providing a bit of structure. This sweater is oversized and airy, but not flowy, so it stays put while you’re wearing it.
The simple construction is beginner friendly, and the design is super flattering on a variety of body types. I designed this to be worn over a bralette, tank, or t-shirt and bear no responsibility if you choose to wear this commando … LOL!
