This pattern is inspired by the first ever blanket I attempted when I was learning to knit and my cousin was about to have her first baby. The pattern required me to pick up stitches around the edge for the border, so I improvised and adapted it to be a little easier!

The Heavenly Baby Blanket is knitted in our beautiful Baby Haven 4ply, a 100% New Zealand Merino yarn hailing from the other side of the globe. The perfect size for a pram or car seat as well as machine-washable and luxuriously soft, any new addition will be in heaven wrapped up in this blanket.

The pattern also has instructions on how to add the Lazy Daisy embroidery on to the blanket once finished. For this you will need a small amount of scrap yarn in your preferred colour.

Needles: Straight Needles: 3.25mm
Tension: 28sts x 10cm on 3.25mm
