Inspired by the Heavenly Cowl, this lacy rectangular stole borrows the Heavenly stitch pattern which is placed at each end. Moving to the centre, the pattern changes into small diamonds, meeting in the middle with a beautiful panel of large lace diamonds. The stole is worked flat from two ends and grafted together, closer to one end, with Kitchener Stitch.

One skein of SweetGeorgia Merino Silk Lace was used. The colour shown here is Boysenberry. Pattern includes notes, list of abbreviations, and the download includes two separate documents - a fully charted pattern as well as a fully written pattern.

Finished measurements: approximately 17 inches (43 cm) wide and 77 inches (195 cm) long, after blocking. It is important to block the finished stole to open the lace pattern and achieve the overall finished size.

Skills required: basic lace knitting, grafting stitches using Kitchener Stitch, blocking. Stitches used: k, p, yo, k2tog, SKP, SK2P.
