Heavy Skies is my Pride Month pattern. I designed it as a gift to LGBT community.
Being straight myself, I am seriously concerned and ashamed with the situation of LGBT people in my country. Things are bad and getting worse, the present authorities and some Catholic Church officials are to be blamed.
It is true, that Polish society is homophobic. With this pattern I want to show my support and say - not all of us are like that.

The pattern combines sections of beautiful Estonian lace stitch and diagonal rainbow stripes. It was not easy to find the proper yarn, I used Zauberball Tropical Fish. It is not perfect, it lacks parts dyed purple, but it is the best I was able to find. I’d be grateful for better yarn ideas!
