Hedge Maze Shawl
The Hedge Maze shawl features a stunning brioche stitch pattern that mimics the way leaves and branches intertwine as they grow.
This beautiful half-circle shaped shawl is knit from the top down and center out using the pi formula developed by Elizabeth Zimmermann.
The pattern includes full written instructions and charts for the brioche sections. Video technique demonstrations are included for the provisional cast-on and the brioche decreases.
Finished size
Wingspan: 64 in/163 cm
Depth: 28 in/71 cm
Gauge
24 sts and 24 rows = 4 in/10 cm in the larger brioche pattern, using the smaller needles and after blocking.
Gauge is not critical for this shawl but may affect yardage needed to complete the shawl.
